Beginning Collage: Laura Hene Group #11
Create a stunning Laura Heine collage quilt from start to finish! This class is designed for students making one of the beautiful Group #11 patterns: Bouquet, Mosaic Vase, or Statement Vase. This class will guide you through picking fabric, fusing fabric, cutting and layering to create a beautiful vase of flowers collage.
The class begins with an in-depth look at fabric selection, where you'll learn how to choose fabrics that add depth, color, texture, and dimension to your collage. We'll discuss value, scale, print, and color placement. You'll receive guidance in selecting and organizing fabrics that will make your project come alive.
Once your fabrics are chosen, you'll begin building your collage using Laura Heine's collage technique. Step-by-step instruction will guide you through cutting, layering, and fusing your fabrics to create a vibrant, one-of-a-kind work of art. Individual assistance will be provided throughout the class to help you confidently progress from fabric selection to a completed collage top.
Cancellation policy: You may request a full refund for your class or transfer to another class if it is more than 48 hours prior to the date of the class. If you request a transfer, any credits/charges will be made at that time if any, subject to availability. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before a class will not be refunded. By signing up for a class, you acknowledge this cancellation policy. You may still purchase the kit and/or pattern at retail price that would have otherwise been included in the cost of the class. Fabric Play Quilting reserves the right to deny class registration to individuals who cancel multiple classes.
