QUILTING WITH STRIGHT LINES
Bring your small quilt pinned in layers and ready to learn four techniques that work quickly to finish your quilt! We will learn 1)stitch in the ditch, 2) Straightline edge to edge. 3) Straightline to enhance the piecing. 4) Straightline following a guide.
Each technique will be shown and then you will choose what you want to use. Time will be given in class to get you started and able to ask questions along the way.
You will need to bring to class the following.
1) Sewing machine in good working order
2) Walking foot (sometimes it is called dual feed foot) Make sure your walking foot actually works before coming to class!
3) Coordinating sewing thread (do no use quilting thread this is very thick thread used for hand quilting) you want just a nice 100% cotton thread
4) Sewing snips scissors
5)Something to put your removed pins in.
6)Edge joining foot or stitch in ditch foot recommended but not absolutely required. It will be much nicer looking!
