Longarm Pantograph



Free-motion quilting is beautiful, but when you want crisp, consistent, and efficient finishes for your quilt tops, pantographs are your best friend. In this hands-on workshop, you will unlock the secrets to flawless edge-to-edge (E2E) quilting using paper pantographs. We will demystify the process of following a laser light, managing your machine's movement, and perfectly advancing your quilt so your rows blend seamlessly from top to bottom. Whether you have just bought a longarm, rent studio time, or want to brush up on your muscle memory, this class will give you the confidence to roll through your quilt stash in record time!

  • How to position your pantograph pattern properly
  • How to set up your machine table and laser light for efficient quilting
  • How to efficiently quilt your pantograph patterns
  • How to space the second and subsequent rows of your pantograph pattern for proper pattern placement
  • Common pantograph stitching problems and how to solve them


Cancellation policy: You may request a full refund for your class or transfer to another class if it is more than 48 hours prior to the date of the class. If you request a transfer, any credits/charges will be made at that time if any, subject to availability. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before a class will not be refunded. By signing up for a class, you acknowledge this cancellation policy. You may still purchase the kit and/or pattern at retail price that would have otherwise been included in the cost of the class. Fabric Play Quilting reserves the right to deny class registration to individuals who cancel multiple classes.

Requirements: MUST HAVE TAKEN THE BEGINNING LONGARM CLASS FROM FABRIC PLAY QUILTING.
Instructor: Trish Johnson
Instructor Bio: Trish is a very accomplished quilter, she has been quilting for over 15 years when she took a class and fell in love with the craft. Trish a valued employee at Fabric Play Quilting were you can always find her either working in the longarm room or out on the floor helping customers with there current projects. Trish's love for color and laughter always make for a fun class.
