Featherweight Friends Club - 2/8/22
This Open Sew group welcomes lovers of the Singer Featherweight for a fun shared sewing experience on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. A small project and information on the care and operation of your Featherweight will be shared at each session. In this session you will make a mini Dresden Plate spool pin plate. Bring 8 scraps of colorful fabric and a spool pin felt plate, plus a small piece (2" square") of a light fusible non-woven interfacing. Bring your Featherweight. An Ironing and cutting station will be available. You may also bring a light snack and a beverage in a sealed container. This Featherweight Open Sew session is free and limited to 7 people. Reservations are required.

Beginning quilters often start with little sewing experience. Our Beginning Quilting classes are designed to teach the basics of quilting in a stress-free environment. In this 2-session class, you will learn the basics of sewing and cutting while you make a disappearing 9 patch quilt top. Our hope for this class is to show you that quilting is a relaxing way to stretch your creativity. This class has 2 sessions. Session 1 is on Jan 29, 2022, from 4 pm to 8pm. Session 2 is on Feb 5, 2022, from 4 pm to 8pm.

Half Square triangles are the basis for myriad other blocks and can open the door to countless quilt options. Quilters will leave with a table runner sized top and the confidence to branch out into new quilting adventures.
