Bind-01: The Quilt's Not Done Until It's Bound

How many quilts are languishing in your sewing room waiting to be bound? Let Trish help you break the binding logjam, so you can get those works of quilting art ready to share or use in your home. Since binding is a required skill for quilters, it's imperative to master the art of finishing your quilt. So, Trish will teach you basic machine binding including cutting, joining the strips, mitered corners and final finishes. You'll also discuss the glue method, a decorative stitching option and flange binding. You will learn the sew to the back of the quilt and finish on the front method of binding. See Requirements (below) for additional materials you will need for this class.
